Nantes Atlantique-NTE will implement a “Program of Terminal renewal” that will be impacting the airport capacities during the coming S25 season (30Mar-25Oct).
The French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) informed COHOR of the capacity reductions.

DGAC specified the capacity reduction during S25 as follow:

• Departure capacities:
  • reduced to 675 passengers per 20min rolling with a 10min step (750 passengers on the actual parameters)
  • reduced to 1600 passengers per 60min rolling with a 10min step (1800 passengers on the actual parameters)
  • 20 minutes of gap between two non-Schengen departures of aircraft below 210 seats
  • 40 minutes of gap for aircraft above 210 seats
• Arrival capacities:
  • 500 passengers per 60min rolling with a 10 min step for all arrival coming from outside Schengen area for the whole day

The NTES25 historic baseline (HBD) is set to 09 Dec 2024.

For the operators concerned, in order to comply with the reduced capacities, you are kindly invited to cooperate according to the following phases:

Phase 1: Voluntary cancellations and time adjustments (From 10Dec until 16Dec)
Cancellations
Departures the whole day
Arrivals the whole day
All cancelations will be under JNUS
Cancellations out of requested by Cohor will not be covered by JNUS

Time adjustments
Departures moved out of range
Arrivals moved out of range
The ones moved as a consequence of the previous changes
Current historic time will remain

Phase 2: Cohor requires cancellations and time adjustments to operators (when phase 1 is over)
Cohor will require cancellations and/or time adjustments, seeking to reduce the impacts as much as possible (same flexibility policy on historic as in phase 1)
All cancelation will be under JNUS
Cancellations out of requested by Cohor will not be covered by JNUS
Current historic time will remain for time adjustments

Phase 3: The French Civil Aviation Authorities (DGAC) will require Cohor to impose cancellations and time adjustments
If voluntary cancellations and proposed modifications are not enough to meet the new capacity limits, Cohor will impose cancellations and time adjustments based on criteria defined by DGAC
All cancellations will be under JNUS
Cancellations out of requested by Cohor will not be covered by JNUS
Current historic time will remain for time adjustments

The rest of parameters are no affected.

Revised capacities will be given on a regular basis to inform about remaining times over the limits
